Profile: Lavoy was a seventeen year old struggling artist in Venice when he met his Sire, barely able to feed himself. He was born the son of an aristrocrat who disowned him for his pursuits in art instead of taking an interest in the Family's Real-estate business. The beautiful young Frenchman moved into Artorius' Castle in Wenne France six months after meeting the dashing vampire, and six months later Artorius Sired him and took him as a lover. His Sire allowed him to pursue his talents as an Artist and Poet, while also training him in the arts of his blood's gifts, the office of Seneschal and keeping the books for his businesses, all which Lavoy proved an able student of. Lavoy loved his Sire, and though he struggled with his Sire's passion for multiple lovers, always harboring a secret wish to be his one and only mate one day, Lavoy was unconditionally loyal and devoted to his Sire as his sex-thrall, progeny and advocate. His Sire has protected and guarded him as possessively as Lavoy has guarded his Sire. On October 1st, 2004, the French Secret Services (FSS) on a secret mission to rid France of 'Known' Vampires, attacked his Sire's Heritage Estate in Wenne France during the day and gutted the place, burning the stables and vinyards to the ground. Lavoy, in his secret resting place in the Chateau's Dungeon, had slept during the entire attack, while his manservent, Kael, routed the servents and hid them in the Wine Cellar, while Kael went to guard his regent, and when Lavoy woke, all were gathered and fled to Kent. Artorius was not at the Haven when they arrived. After seeing that everyone was settled in, Lavoy left the Estate, distraught and depressed, to search for his Sire in London to tell him the disturbing news. He felt as if he had failed his Sire, his heart in his stomach as he arrived in London City to track down his Sire, reaching out to him in a mental whisper to ask him where he was. The very path of chaos his Sire followed wreaked havoc on their lives it seemed, one ordeal after another swamping them like tidal waves.
For awhile things improved. Life at the Kent estate fell back into stable routines, and in time Art found his own Sire Arcadius. The France Estate was repaired and they moved back into it, and no sooner was life settled and good again, than FoG seized his sire. He was returned to them a strange sort of wreck. Lavoy did all he could to help him through his horrors, but something definate in his Sire had changed, and when his Sire was recaptured AGAIN by FoG, Lavoy was beside himself with rage and depression. When someone inside of FoG's organization had helped get Artorius out, hope sprung once again in Lavoy's heart, but each time his Sire was taken, he was more distant, harder to reach, and different in so many ways. Before Artorius could really truly recover himself, he hurled himself back into the life he had left behind with Cain, unable to let go of the past life his tortures had shaken loose in him. He left the Clan in Late August, and said only one thing in parting..."I have to go... I am sorry...But I must go... I have no choice." Nothing could persuade him to stay, and Lavoy had no idea if he was leaving for a day or a lifetime. He walked away from Lavoy at that to make himself one with the shadows, and the months slipped by with no sign or word from him, and no amount of effort on Lavoy or the clan's part to reach had results.
Then in September, the war that so many immortal Elders had warned of did indeed come. It was a nuclear holocaust of unprecedented destruction, a last, desperate act of the human race to try and rid the world of the immortals that had been exposed and which they SO feared. When the first assault came, the Black Lion, like others chosen across the globe, fell into a deep state of sleep, and when they woke 24 hours later, they found themselves spread out within a medieval castle in an untamed land unknown to them. An Morendor, the Shadowlands, a huge continent on the planet of Morashtar deep within the Middle Kingdom of planets, Ardda, on the edge of the center of universe, the Acheron Nebula and Acheron, which some called hell. The world lie half in and out of the Dark Kingdom, the inner planes of Hell's far reaching outter-planes.
Hell was not what earthlings assumed it was at all, its dark halls, the lake of fire, the hellish parts, only a mote of what Hell truly was. The Middle Kingdom was simply where all the galaxies and planets lived. The Black Lion Clan had much to learn about the universe and its many planes and kingdoms.
Lavoy had taken a lover and mate named Avery not long before being flung onto Morashtar and Avery had gone amiss in the intergalactic shift, and for all Lavoy's efforts he could not reach him, until two months of 31 days had passed, when quite suddenly, he felt his presence, his thoughts crying out to him to please, please find him. When Lavoy did indeed find him, taking Faust with him, what he found floored him. He was in the arms of two VERY handsome young men, obviously vampires, who were feeding from him as they dominated him fully with their wills. Lavoy could not know at that moment, as he walked into that cave, that the two ravishing Avery were his own twin sons, OUT of Avery. How COULD he anticipate such an impossible thing? He had only been separated from Avery for 62 days. With angels, many unknown things were possible. The days ahead would test them both to be sure. What seemed an evil act at a glance, was innocent need in the minds of the two month old-sixteen year old vampires feasting on the male mother they had dominated. Pure instinct and need with the power to demand those needs, was the driving force behind what he found. In time he would come to understand it and deal with his offspring better, but at that moment, pure instinctual rage and misunderstanding drove Lavoy. Indeed the days, months and years ahead would prove intriguing, once Lavoy and Avery got past their shock and their very rough beginning as parents of two very powerful and incredibly intelligent true born-angelic vampires.
Path of Chaos: The Path of chaos was a belief which the Black Lion Clan were students of, which dictated that Chaos was the true creator and driving force of all things in the Universe. The gods were simply immortal beings of high power, with a heirarchal order much like any society. The Path of Chaos also dictated that with greater power came a greater responsibility towards applying that power, and that wisdom alone must dictate how one of power ruled over their followers. Direct involvement in the lives of creatures far less powerful, who were just learning wisdom was considered an act which could unbalance harmony and unleash the destructive or corrupting forces of chaos, and through the Path of Chaos one learned how to maintain balance within the five major pentacles of Chaos, thus learning how to balance themselves, their powers, and things around them as well.
At length Artorius returned to Lavoy and the clan after many ordeals much changed and yet? He was still Artorius and loved Lavoy with a passion and dedication greater than ever before. In time and despite his fear of ever having children, he even married Lavoy and gave him children, a boy and girl they named Lucien and Lillian.
But strange, bizzare, immortal things happened and Lavoy and Art merged during what might only be described as a spectacular carnal event. But not long before even that Lavoy had been possessed by the primordial of Lust.
They had barely begun to understand what they had become when another like them, perhaps even the only other like them, came to visit them at their home, a demon paired with a devil, and convinced them to see what it was like to couple with them. Curiosity and the primal in him compelled Lavoy to want to agree and Art though not as eager agreed to the 'test run'. More incredibly and perhaps in part or even whole, they merged with the other two hellions Mernaph and Malcolm during that unspeakably intense episode. Art couldn't take being bound up with all of them. It was too much, and being immune to his will and mind being forced he was able to break free and become an individual again. He tried with all his love and determination to get Lavoy to do the same, but Lavoy claimed his new state to be his destiny, that he was who he was now, and that Art needed to accept him AS he was and give him time to settle into himself. Art asked him who he thought he was now, and Lavoy answered with gravity. "We are Lust." It broke the Angel of Despair's heart. Art then trapped and imprisoned Lavoy in a Kingdom of Shadows he could not leave. The beautiful castle in it became Lavoy's Haven, the great shadowy landscape with its forests, lakes, creeks, mountains and rivers around it his stomping ground. It was an entire kingdom but still a prison and a lonely one especially considering what he was. And yet was he ever alone when he was legion now? Art took their children and left, traveling to the clan estate with Lucien and Lillian and later took them to live in Esscha Endor at Gothtyrdan.
Art did visit Lavoy, hoping upon hope every time Lavoy had decided to divide from Lust, which was legion in all it had consumed. Art gave in to temptation more often than not when Lavoy seduced him. Lavoy had even sworn to Art he would remain faithful to him. Art just couldn't withstand being loved by Lust. Fearing his own vulnerability however he came to gather the strength to deny Lavoy. It wasn't easy denying Lust when you loved him, but he managed it. After Lavoy practically raped him during a subsequent visit, Artorius finally laid a final ultimatum on the table. He belonged heart and soul to Lavoy and when Lavoy divided from Lust he would be his again. Until that time Art would move on. Lavoy was as equally devastated as his mate and sire but accepted his terms saying they were done then, if Art refused to accept him as he was. Art and Lavoy were both crushed. Then Art told Lavoy he would free him in time once he got a handle on what he was. Hence he left Lavoy to his legion and returned home to Esscha Endor, living between Gothtyrdan and the Blacklion Estate.
Property and Wealth:
* Haven - Black Lion Castle in the Shadow Kingdom of Artorius,
* Resources -Maelmorda's son Mascen provided the clan with breeding stock of incredible An Morendor Storm Cloud horses, as payment for their aid in helping him to reclaim his valuable weapons from a clan of young Dumaedor Demons which had attacked the ranger in Mephais. Lavoy fell in love with the horses immediately, and the horses were immediately fond of him. These horses are rather large like warm bloods with heavy draft horse blood, feathered fetlocks, very long wavy manes and tails, beautiful Andalusian-like faces, grey in color with silvery dappling, black and dark grey manes and tails, varying between shades of these colors, sometimes with silvery manes and dark grey dappled bodies. They are very swift, have incredible stamina, are quasi-immortal, and can learn to understand languages. The Black Lion stock can understand English and Esurian. Storm Cloud horses are very valuable animals, native to An Morendor.
When Mascen, Lavoy, Mathea, Geni, Faust and Octavian had defeated the rogue band of demons, they looted their camp to find Mascens stolen weapons along with a wealth of treasure the demons themselves had stolen. Their strong boxes were full of weapons, gold, platinum and jewels which the party split, the Black Lion Clan starting their treasury with their take in the plunder.
